Folsom Prison Experience

Prepare for a high-intensity recreation of one of Johnny Cash’s most significant days in his musical career – a day that history now looks back on with amazement. While Johnny was going through a tough period, having just ended his first marriage, the band struggled to get him interested in recording in the studio. Their bold solution? Record LIVE in a prison. But what seemed simple turned into a whirlwind of drama!

Chicken Breakdown Class

This workshop is a great beginners class for at-home meat cutting! Each student will have their own cutting board, knife and locally-raised whole chicken (3-4 LB). Part demo / part full hands-on participation, you will get to cut your chicken into 8 pieces and learn multiple methods of cutting the chicken into usable parts. We will go over how to use all the parts, how to make bone broth, chicken liver pate and more. You will receive a tasty overnight marinade to take home.

Caribbean Music & Theatre Fest

From Oct. 7-15 at the Gremlin Theatre in St. Paul, honor and celebrate Latin America with the Caribbean Music & Theatre Fest! Produced by Teatro del Pueblo and Boriken Cultural Center, the festival begins Oct. 7, with four music acts for a night of dancing. The next week, audiences can experience a free play reading of "The Chrysalis" by local Miguel Fiol with Joe Moses on Oct. 11, as well as three performances of Ángel Váquez's one-man theatrical comedy, "Hecho en PueLto Rico," Oct. 13-15.

Boo' Scootin Boogie Forgotten Star Country Bar

We’re back at it with country shenanigans! Come on down Saturday, October 28 in your best Halloween bib and tucker! We’re fixin’ to have the rootinest, tootinest, spookiest night this side of the Mississippi! 

We’ll have Hitchville in the tent playing all of your country favorites for you to get a wiggle on from 7-10 pm!​
