Nature, art, and mindfulness come together to create a unique and relaxing experience at Shepard Farm! With Naturalist Mary and former Naturalist Fellow and current artist Ashley Johnson, experiment with watercolor paints and have fun laying them onto the page in abstract, open-ended patterns.
With 20 vendors, you'll find a variety of items to start on your holiday gift list or pick up a treat for yourself! This is a fundraiser for our Veterans and Veterans programs, as well as other non-profits, hosted by Morson-Ario-Strand VFW Auxiliary 950.
Witches Night Out is a bewitching event where attendees don their finest witch attire to stroll throughout Downtown Excelsior, indulging in enchanting shopping deals, treats and tastings. The night culminates with a spooktacular Halloween after-party hosted at Pique Travel, where magic and mischief await.

Experience the magic of the holiday season with "An Evening with Ella," a tribute to the legendary jazz vocalist Ella Fitzgerald. With the soulful voice of Courtney Burton, you'll be transported to a world of timeless holiday classics such as “Let It Snow," "Winter Wonderland," "Jingle Bells," and "The Christmas Song." This show also includes a variety of the First Lady of Song’s repertoire, such as “Something’s Got to Give,” “It’s All Right with Me,” “Skylark,” and “Too Darn Hot.”

Enjoy a Spooky and Scary Movie DOUBLE FEATURE with us at the Heritage Garden & Amphitheater, located adjacent to Woodlawn Park in Moorhead (MN). There will be art activities and the Movie will begin at sundown. Popcorn, drinks, hand sanitizer, and bug spray will be provided. You are welcome to bring your own snacks, blankets/chairs, and fuzzy friends as well! Costumes strongly encouraged! Get in the Halloween spirit with Moorhead Parks and Recreation’s Pumpkin Party Pick-Up! On Tuesday, October 17, parents, guardians and kids 12 and under can stop by Memorial Park, 111 8th St N in Moorhead, between 3:30 and 5:30 pm to grab a pumpkin gourd and paint kit. Take your pumpkin home and paint your creation! Supplies are limited and first-come, first-served. Submit a photo of the artist in costume with their masterpiece to [email protected] for a chance to win great prizes.
