Julia's Race- fun run/walk

Julia's Race is a FUN 5K Run/Walk on beautiful Pike Island, located in the historic Fort Snelling State Park. The race route runs along the Mississippi & Minnesota Rivers. Join us for a beautiful fall race and stay for doughnuts & beverages afterward. Proceeds from the race will go to the Julia Pernsteiner Memorial Foundation, a 501c3, non-profit, that supports those with educational, mental or physical challenges. Come for the fun and help us give out a few more scholarships this year! Cost $30

"Lincoln and the Hellgate: The Effie Afton Trial" presented by George Romano

The Hellgate was the first rail bridge across the Mississippi River (1857). This is the story of that bridge, a spectacular shipwreck and fire (the Effie Afton), and the railroad industry itself put on trial. Their lawyer in federal court? A young lawyer from Illinois who in three years would be president.​

Civil War Roundtable meets on the 2nd Thursday of the month. Meetings are free for members or $3.00/general admission.

In 2022, our partner hospitals served 126,000 children with congenital heart disease (CHD). Worldwide 9 in 10 children born with CHD lack access to the heart care they need to survive and thrive. $10 per person--includes all of the things in $5 admission fee as well as: Hayride, Fun Zone Activities, and Corn Maze

11th Annual Maker Fair Minnesota Handcrafted Market

Maker Fair Minnesota is one of Southern Minnesota’s largest celebrations of handmade goods. There are no mass produced items sold at Maker Fair MN. Every item sold by our vendors is made by hand and is one of a kind! The event also features local food trucks, goodie bags, and activities for kids.
