40th Annual -St. James Rail Run "Run for those that can't"
Hosted by St. James Area Chamber of Commerce
A child's one mile run, a one mile run, a two mile walk and a four mile run.
The four mile run is around St. James Lake.
The starting point for the event is at the Railroad Museum west of the Tiell Park Campground.
The Tooth Fairy candy store, opened by the incredible Aretta-Rie Johnson. Located in the vibrant historically Black Rondo neighborhood, this place is all about spreading joy and inspiring young minds! Imagine walking into a candy wonderland, like stepping into Willy Wonka's fantasy brought to life.
In 1890, a driving straight-line wind on Lake Pepin overturned the Sea Wing, killing ninety-eight people within minutes in the worst marine tragedy in Minnesota history. In 1940, a raging blizzard trapped duck hunters on islands in the Mississippi River and left motorists stranded across the region, leaving dozens injured or dead.

Formed in St. Paul during the spring of 2016, this group of pals and
long-time members of the Minnesota music scene share their love of the
Led Zeppelin catalog. Zeppo is not your traditional tribute band. There
are no wigs or costumes. Rather, they are best described as a “Fan
Band.” These veteran Midwest rockers bring the music of Led Zeppelin to
life with pedigreed musicianship while remaining true to the spirit of
that which inspires: Led Zeppelin.
