The 6th Lumières Françaises returns to The Main Cinema July 14-20. MSP Film Society’s annual celebration of French and francophone cinema, Lumières Françaises showcases new and acclaimed French films, from rebellious comedies to exquisite dramas, and vivid documentaries.

Kings Return

Kings Return is a vocal band of brothers - Gabe Kunda, Vaughn Faison,
J.E. McKissic & Jamall Williams. The Dallas, Texas-based a cappella
group was formed unintentionally in 2016 after first singing together
for Gabe’s college graduation recital. Their popularity grew when they
began posting videos to social media from the stairwell where they
rehearse. They have amassed almost 10 million views across all platforms

I Am He Said (Neil Diamond Tribute)

Matt Vee Family & Friends Present I Am, He Said With songs like
Cracklin’ Rosie, Song Sung Blue, and Sweet Caroline, Neil Diamond sold
over 100 million records worldwide, and produced musical hits spanning
five decades. As a Tin Pan Alley song writer in the mid 60s, he penned
songs recorded by everyone from Elvis Presley to Deep Purple and, of
course, the Monkee’s classic, “I’m A Believer.” Join Matt, Jeff, and
Tommy Vee (nephew and sons of the legendary Bobby Vee), for a
celebration of this amazing music icon.

Since forming in northeast Minneapolis in 2006, The High 48s have
been making music that combines the soulful sound of classic bluegrass
with a modern attitude. They’re a band with one foot in tradition and
the other in the world of music today, and one of the very few who can
find an overlooked bluegrass classic in a song by M. Ward or the Clash
then throw down hard on a standard by Bill Monroe.

Rock & Roll experience you won't soon forget. The lights, sound,
smoke, fire, bombs, and screaming hoards of avid fans...to merely call
it a concert would be like calling Mount Rushmore a roadside attraction!

Green Seniors: Apple Harvest

Fruit hangs heavy on the tree branches in the apple orchard. Join a naturalist on a short walk to learn about the history and uses of apples at Dodge. You’ll taste a few varieties, make some sweet cider, and meet the apple recycling team: the pigs on the farm!

Green Seniors welcomes seniors interested in learning more about the natural world. This program is one hour long and may include some walking. Coffee and light refreshments will be provided.
