Wells Fargo Mpls WinterSkate in Loring Park (1382 Willow Street, Minneapolis, MN 55402) offers you a chance to skate under the downtown Minneapolis skyline. Join us for one of Minnesota’s favorite winter activities. The skating rink will be open once again during the 2019-20 winter season beginning November 29 and running through the beginning of March. The rink is fully refrigerated, offering a chance to skate regardless of the weather.

Wayzata Chilly Open

The largest, most well-known and unusual golf tournament held on a frozen lake. Each year, over 2,000 golfers come from all around with their golf clubs and hockey sticks to putt with tennis balls around Wayzata Bay. So start gathering your squad and mark your calendar - golf tickets are on sale December 1, 2024.

Wayzata Art Experience

The quaint lakeside village of Wayzata, otherwise known as the jewel of Lake Minnetonka, draws art lovers from across the twin cities with its charming shops and dining hot spots. Wayzata Art Experience, held in the heart of downtown Wayzata, provides a 2-day celebration of art, music, food, and fun for all ages! Established in 2004, the Wayzata Art Experience is held on the shores of Lake Minnetonka. Everybody get lakeside!

Waterama

Glenwood Waterama is a multiple day festival is located on the beautiful shores of Lake Minnewaska.

The weekend has a lot of excitement with 100-unit parade, kiddie parade, lighted pontoon parade, water shows, pageants, dances, sporting events, running races, & more!

When you need a break from the activities, there is plenty of food to take care of your appetite.

Other activities include Crazy Day sales,Boardwalk Sales at the park, Car Show, state of the art fireworks, and a community worship service.

Water Tower Festival

Annually, we celebrate the Water Tower Festival. Residents and visitors turn out en masse for this community get-together. The festival commemorates the restoration of the city's historic concrete water tower as a community landmark.

Washburn A Mill Tour

Take an in-depth look at the historic Washburn A Mill complex and the award-winning Mill City Museum building.

A guide will take visitors into the building's many nooks and crannies, highlighting the lives of the men and women who worked there, how the building functioned during its peak flour-milling years, and the many changes to the building over time.

This is the only opportunity for a guided tour through the entire museum building and the only chance to see some of its non-public spaces.
