Maud Hixson Quartet | Flapper, Swing, & Bebop

On May 4, 2024, at 7:00 PM, the Maud Hixson Quartet, led by acclaimed vocalist Maud Hixson, will present "She Said, She Said," one of their most celebrated performances. The concert will showcase the work of female songwriting pioneers, including Kay Swift, Dorothy Fields, Peggy Lee, Blossom Dearie, and Lorraine Feather. Ms. Hixson is a recipient of the Minnesota State Arts Board Artist Initiative Grant. She recently returned to the Lincoln Center stage to perform “Sentimental Journey, A Tribute to Doris Day”, which she performed right here in Glenwood in 2022!
