The Fourth of July — a time for swimming in the lake, rock skipping, shopping, agate hunting, donuts, long hikes, canoe trips, fudge, fireworks, and time with your family. It’s the true kick-off for summer here in the north woods and we’d love to have you join us! Take the weekend (or the whole week) to get away from the bustle of the city and enjoy what summer on the shore has to offer. Many who visit our neck of the woods end up coming back time and time again because they just cannot fit all of the fun to be had in to only one visit.

4th of July Celebration - Baudette
4th of July Celebration—No city celebrates the 4th of July like Baudette. There is entertainment, parades, food and merchandise vendors, activities for the kids, street dances, and much more. Baudette is also home to Northern Minnesota's Most Spectacular Fireworks Display over the Baudette Bay at Willie Walleye Park.

7/4: Bayside Skiers Ski Show at Fountain Lake, Fireworks over Fountain Lake at dusk, and a Antique Car Show on Broadway downtown.

4th of July at Turner Hall Park
In the middle of New Ulm, on a full block for the Turner Hall organization, they will have a variety of old-time and brass bands performing all afternoon. The area is a grassy lawn with two stages under mature shade trees.
Food and drink available. It is a nice, carefree afternoon of music and friendship and very family-friendly.
4th Annual Make Music Day

4-H Clover Dash 5K
Anoka County 4-H is hosting our 10th Annual 4-H Clover Dash. Race route will wind through the scenic Bunker Hills Regional Park on paved trails. We will be having a 5K Run/Walk and a 2 Mile Walk. Funds raised from this event will go to support Anoka County 4-H programs and scholarships. This event is for everyone, runners, walkers, etc. Invite family, friends and co-workers for a fun-filled morning to help support 4-H youth programming and scholarships in Anoka County. Medals and/or prizes awarded to top finishers.
3rd Annual Legends of the Road Classic Car Show
Ruttger's is hosting the Third Annual Legends of the Road Classic Car Show. The show will be followed by a classics concert. The public is invited to check out the most beautiful cars, trucks and motorcycles ever to grace the byways of America - true legends of the road. This show is put on in conjunction with The Garrison Car Club.
