A CRACKLING MUSICAL WITH A WICKED EDGE

1977.  An heiress, kind and generous, is found dead in her bed. Her night nurse, lying lifeless on the staircase. A robbery? A clumsy break-in? A conspiracy? A scandal! The Congdon family tragedy splashed across the headlines of every newspaper in Minnesota. But what really happened on that fateful night at the Glensheen Mansion? Whodunit?

Fibers and Figures

At Fibers and Figures, two artists’ works represent how women are seen in society. Klaire Lockheart’s oil paintings and Laura Wennstrom’s multimedia art both challenge traditional representations of women in art. See Fibers and Figures at Bloomington Center for the Arts from now through June 30.
