Explore art and objects associated with the loss and shipwreck of RMS Titanic. On view will be a young survivor's riveting first-hand account of the disaster, including the loss of her father, in her diary and personal letters. Also included are paintings by American artist Colin Campbell Cooper from when he was aboard the rescue ship Carpathia, and a ship model, original telegrams, and more.

Learn about Native American history and the fort's role in US expansion. Explore stories of African Americans at Fort Snelling, like the all-black 25th US Infantry in the 1880s and Dred and Harriet Scott, whose struggle to gain freedom from slavery helped ignite the Civil War.
Guests, families and community members gather together for a special powwow to remember all the fallen warriors that have fought for this country, as well as honor all current veterans. Enjoy the drumming, singing, and dancing along the shores of Lake Mille Lacs for this annual event.
